10 Book Series I haven't read yet but I really want to

In the last post I talked about the 15 books I haven't read yet, so now I'm going to talk about the 10 book series I'm dying to read.

10 book series I haven't read yet but I really want to

(already published - not in any particular order)

Since I first knew about this reality show lookalike series I've been wanting to read it; dystopia is not my favourite book genre but I really think I'd like these series.

2. Splintered
Some people would punch me if they knew I've had Splintered resting on my shelf for one year. When I first saw its synopsis it seemed charming and awesome to me (and it still does) but when I had it in my hands I realised it wasn't a book I was in the mood to read. And now you ask "But why did you get it if you weren't in the mood to read it, you dumb?" I think I found it so awesome I couldn't resist to buy it asap, and now I admit it has been resting on my shelf for too much time.

3. The Nightmare Affair
I don't know why, this series reminded me so much of the Ghost Girl series, so they caught my attention. I found out about them at the same time I did about Splintered, and I've been wanting to read the first book since then. I don't know anyone who read it so I haven't heard anything about it yet (except of Goodreads opinions, but I don't care much about them).

4. The Paper Magician
I heard about these series before they came out in Spain (which happened 3 months ago aprox) and every time I see the first book in amazon or in a bookstore I'm TEMPTED to buy it and read it. The covers' designs are gorgeous and there's magic and magicians and awesome things. I've read many good opinions about it, so I'd like to pick them up once I'm finished with the Harry Potter series.

Yes.
You read it well.
I'm afraid to say that the number 5 is...

5. Harry Potter
I'm ashamed of this. I've been a bookworm my entire life (now more than ever) and I've never read any Harry Potter book. Shit happens; I've just haven't had the opportunity and haven't found the right moment to pick them up...until now. I'm planning to read them (or, at least, some of them) this summer and get into this magic fantastic world.

6. Vampire Academy
Even though I've always been in love with vampires, I've never been into vampire themed books (plus, I've never read the Twilight series). Once, when I was at highschool, I picked up the first two books from the Midnight series by Claudia Gray because one of my best friends got them on her birthday and we read them together. I've seen the Vampire Academy movie and I liked it, so I think I would like the books as well.

7. The Lord of the Rings
Yes. Another shame. But I can explain it.
I'm planning to read the trilogy after finishing The Hobbit and all the Lost Tales of Middle Earth tomes. I'll read them for sure, not soon tho.

8. The Lunar Chronicles
A huge amount of people recommended me these series, and I want to read them, I promise. It's just that, as I've told many times to people who told me to read them, Cinder just doesn't catch my attention; I don't find it interesting. I may be wrong, I wish I am, but that's the reason I haven't read them yet.

9. Théâtre Illuminata
These series. I don't really know why I haven't picked up the first book yet. I was going to when I finished exams, but I decided to get Gena/Finn because I thought it would be lighter (I was sooooooooooo wrong, but this is not the right post to talk about it). Just look at the gorgeous covers and read its wonderful synopsis; you'll fall in love.

10. The Princess diaries
This is definitely
absolutely
completely
entirely
Aprilius Maximus' fault.
This is all I have to say about it.
If you've seen any of her videos you'll know what I mean.

Have you read any of these series? Which one do you prefer? Which one should I pick up first?

Thanks for reading!

◢ Book Review ◣ Nosotros después de las doce

Nosotros después de las doce
Laia Soler
